Joshua Xavier Gutierrez Alonso, professionally known as Xavi, is an American regional Mexican singer-songwriter who gained fame in 2023 with viral TikTok hits like “La Víctima” and “La Diabla.” These successes earned him a debut on the Billboard Hot 100. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Xavi began playing guitar at 10 and writing songs at 12, drawing inspiration from artists like Camila and Sin Bandera. His career started in 2020 with the single “Vete Ya” under Baga Music. In 2023, he debuted My Mom’s Playlist, an EP featuring covers of classics like Maná’s “Rayando el Sol.” His breakthrough single “La Víctima” soared on TikTok and Billboard, leading to further chart-topping hits like “La Diabla,” which peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. Xavi’s tracks dominated Spotify’s Global chart and set records for Latin music. In 2024, he announced his first Poco a Poco Tour, starting in Mexico before heading to the U.S.
