Óscar Armando Díaz de León Huez, known as Carín León, is a celebrated Mexican singer-songwriter specializing in regional Mexican music, born on July 26, 1989. Starting his music journey at 15, he was part of Los Reales and later founded Grupo Arranke in 2010, which gained recognition with “A Través del Vaso”. León launched his solo career in 2018, achieving success with hits like “Me La Avente” and “Tú”, which charted on Billboard’s Latin and Regional charts.

León’s talent earned him multiple accolades, including the Latin Grammy for Best Regional Mexican Song in 2022 and Best Norteño Album in 2023. He has also performed at major events like the Grand Ole Opry, Coachella, and Stagecoach, showcasing his crossover appeal. His 2024 album Boca Chueca, Vol. 1 won him another Latin Grammy for Best Contemporary Mexican Music Album. Born in Hermosillo, Sonora, León is married with two children.
