Andy Rivera, born Andrés Felipe Rivera Galeano on October 28, 1994, in Pereira, Colombia, is a celebrated Colombian singer and songwriter. Inspired by his musician father, Jhonny Rivera, Andy began his musical journey at age 12, honing his vocal and piano skills. Despite his father’s influence towards traditional singing, Andy gravitated to reggaetón and urbano music, genres surging in popularity in the early 2010s. His debut track, “En Busca Con Ella,” released in 2012, marked the start of his career, with collaborations like Pipe Calderon and DJ Cano contributing to his budding recognition.
Rivera gained widespread acclaim with the 2012 hit “Te Pintaron Pajaritos,” amassing millions of views and securing his fame across Latin America and beyond.
